Meet the requirements of material in the production standard of gas cylinders.
(1) The cylinder body material must be made of killed steel.
Seamless cylinder body, welded cylinder simplified and head, are directly subjected to internal pressure parts, requires the use of sulfur, phosphorus and other impurities less killed steel, not allowed to use boiling steel.

4、Ultrasonic examination of gas cylinders:
⎯ Method A: The ultrasonic sensitivity shall be set at + 6 dB to improve the detection of imperfections equivalent to 5 % of the cylindrical wall thickness in this thickened portion.
⎯ Method B: The ultrasonic system shall be calibrated using a standard reference artefact of a cylinder with a notch at sidewall-to-base transition (SBT) area shown in Figure B.2.
5、The depth of notch, T, for SBT shall be (10 ± 1) % of the guaranteed minimum wall thickness, a′, with a minimum of 0,2 mm and maximum of 1 mm, over the full length of the notch.
