Why should acetylene bottles be stored and used upright instead of lying down? There are four reasons:

4, the use of acetylene bottle valve is equipped with a pressure reducer, flame arrester, connected with rubber hose, because of lying down easy to roll, rolling easy damage to the pressure reducer, flame arrester or pull the degluing tube, resulting in acetylene gas leakage, resulting in combustion explosion.
To sum up, acetylene cylinders must be placed upright.
