4、Cylinder air tightness test procedure

1). The cylinder for air tightness test must be qualified by water pressure test, and the cylinder wall must be free from oil pollution or other impurities, and the cylinder has been valve.

2). The inner wall of the test tank should be white, and the water in the tank should be kept clean and transparent.  If the brightness in the trough is insufficient, lighting facilities should be installed at the bottom of the trough.

3). 5、Gas cylinders of design :The calculation of the wall thickness of the pressure-containing parts shall be related to the guaranteed minimum yield strength, Reg, of the material in the finished cylinder.

Cylinders may be designed with one or two openings along the central cylinder axis only.

For calculation purposes, the value of Reg shall not exceed 0,90 Rmg.

The internal pressure upon which the calculation of wall thickness is based shall be the hydraulic test pressure ph.
