Gas cylinder design requirements (ISO9809-1 standard) :

1, bottle body wall thickness :(1)a=D{1-[(10fre-31/2ph)/10FRe]1/2}/2; (2) a or D / 250 + 1; (3) a 1.5 mm or more;

2, bottle bottom structure (concave) :(1)a1≥2a; A2 2 a or higher; R acuity 0.075 D; 0.12 D H p; (2) there should be a transition between concave bottom ring shell and cylinder body; (3) fatigue test;

3. The outer diameter and wall thickness of the neck after forming should be suitable for the torque required by the installation of the valve. When determining the minimum wall thickness, it should be considered that the installation of the valve without the support of accessories such as the collar does not produce permanent deformation

5、The cylinder shall actually experience the maximum and minimum cyclic pressures during the test. The frequency of reversals of pressure shall not exceed 0,25 Hz (15 cycles/min.). The temperature measured on the outside surface of the cylinder shall not exceed 50 °C during the test.

6、After the test, the cylinder bases shall be sectioned to measure the thickness and to ensure that this thickness is sufficiently close to the minimum thickness prescribed in the design and shall be within the usual production tolerances. In no case shall the actual base thickness exceed the minimum value(s) specified on the drawings by more than 15 %. The test shall be considered satisfactory if the cylinder attains the required number of cycles without developing a leak.
